ORANGEVALE, CA (MPG) - The Orangevale History Museum introduces new exciting displays.  Now is the time to make plans to visit the museum at 6920 Hazel Avene, Orangevale, to see the changes. The theme of one display is “Wartime in the Vale” with information on Orangevale residents participating in war efforts.  A second display is the History of Sunrise Mall with pictures over the years. It has been loaned to the museum by the Citrus Heights Historical Society. A second “hands on” History Encounter has been added for museum visitors.

During this holiday season the museum is open Thursdays 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturdays 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. They will be closed on Saturday, December 23rd, but open on December 31st.  Take a trip to the museum with your family or holiday visitors and enjoy the new displays.  If you have visited before, now is the time to make a second visit.
