FAIR OAKS, CA (MPG) - The Big Day of Giving is a 24-hour giving challenge to help raise unrestricted funds for some of Sacramento’s most deserving local non-profit organizations.

On Thursday, May 2, we are raising funds to ensure the future of Theatre Under the Stars’ Summer Season 2025 in the newly renovated Veterans Memorial Amphitheater.

The Fair Oaks Theatre Festival represents the finest aspects of true community theatre: Affordable, quality entertainment that results from the dedication of our hardworking volunteers, students, community members, and professionals who care about the community of Fair Oaks and express that caring through the creation of theatrical arts. The Fair Oaks Theatre Festival is committed to providing and mentoring educational, cultural, and performing arts opportunities for theater students, local actors, and theater production staff. Through our seasonal productions, we work to promote the live theatre experience while enriching the lives of our patrons in Fair Oaks and the surrounding communities.

We need your help NOW to support our continuing mission of providing professional-quality, live theatrical entertainment. The new theatre facility is in the works, and that is great! We hope to present new productions at the new amphitheater in 2025. In the meantime, many unfunded needs exist, such as our 2024 production costs for The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee at American River College, projected costs for the new facility and, most importantly, funding for our 2025 performance season. To achieve these things, we need your help!
