Penny Howard, who lived in the Carmichael/Fair Oaks area since 1967, passed away recently at the grand age of 101.  Penny was always very active in the community, and up until she was 100, still attended many community events.  She was an icon in Fair Oaks and served as Honorary Mayor in 2006, 2020, and 2021. 

A celebration of life will be held on December 10, 2023, at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 2140 Mission Ave., Carmichael, CA, 95608 at 2 p.m., with a reception to follow in the church parish hall.
