With an impressive turnout of 34 clubs, groups, and organizations, the 4th annual event provided a unique opportunity for residents to connect with their neighbors, explore numerous booths, and learn about the participating organizations.
Brad Squires, the event organizer, shared his thoughts, saying, “This annual event serves as our ‘one-stop shop’ for those looking to get more involved. It's always awesome to unite our volunteers who contribute to the greatness of our town and provide others with the chance to participate.”
One of the highlights of the day was the epic door prize raffle, featuring items generously donated by each group, giving one fortunate participant a memorable surprise.
This year’s participants included: the Orangevale Chamber, Orangevale History Project, HART of Orangevale and Fair Oaks, OV Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club of OV and Fair Oaks, Helping Hands OV, Orangevale Woman’s Club, Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank, Big Day of Service, Orangevale Teen Council, Orangevale Grange, Orangevale Community Garden, Orangevale Farm & Garden Club, OV Recreation & Parks District, Options For Youth, Friends of the Library, Orangevale Library, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Just Serve, Orangevale Live, Food Bank Farm, Disconnect to Reconnect, Stars and Stripes Rescue, Jake’s Journey Home, Orangevale Rocks, Redeemer Covenant Church, Sacramento Blankets for Sacramento Kids, Divine Savior Church, Assemblyman Josh Hoover, ABLED County of Sacramento Department of Personnel Services, American River Girls Softball Casa Roble FFA, and Althea Canines.
