SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The Sacramento Kings announced the return of the fan-favorite Kingpin Classic presented by Raley’s, an annual charity bowling event benefiting the Sacramento Kings Foundation. Proceeds from the event support the Foundation’s mission to invest in local programs focused on health, education, social equity and sustainability, while strengthening nonprofits throughout the Sacramento region.
“The Kingpin Classic is more than a tradition — it’s a powerful opportunity to deepen the connection between our organization and the community,” said Sacramento Kings Chief Operating Officer Matina Kolokotronis. “This event underscores our commitment to meaningful impact, with all proceeds benefitting the Sacramento Kings Foundation and its mission to empower local nonprofits across our region.”
The Raley’s Companies Chief Communications Officer Carol Barsotti added, “Raley’s is delighted to once again partner with the Sacramento Kings for the Kingpin Classic, an event that brings our community together. Supporting initiatives centered on health, education and sustainability reflects our shared commitment to making a positive difference throughout the Sacramento region.”
The Kings will host the Kingpin Classic on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at The Apex at Red Hawk Resort + Casino. This year’s sponsorship packages were offered at two levels — Starting Line Up and Sixth Man — providing options for bowlers of all skill levels. Both packages sold out quickly and include a private lane where participants bowl alongside Kings players and coaches.
In addition, the organization is once again offering a limited, all-inclusive spectator package, giving fans exclusive access to the Kingpin Classic and unlimited APEX entertainment throughout the event. General admission spectator tickets include meet-and-greet opportunities with Kings players and coaches, access to the VR arcade, go-karting, golf simulator, gourmet bites and refreshing beverages. Spectator tickets and additional event information are available at Kings.com/Bowling. Registration is limited and available while supplies last.
The annual Kingpin Classic offers a unique opportunity for fans to interact with Kings players and coaches while enjoying live entertainment from the Kings Dancers and Slamson. Off the lanes, guests can immerse themselves in an elevated entertainment environment that blends competition, interactive experiences and premium hospitality. In addition, the Kings will be raffle off exclusive team merchandise and select one spectator to receive a behind-the-scenes game-day experience.
