SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) – Caltrans is alerting motorists about various closures Saturday and Sunday for the Triumph Cancer Foundation’s annual Shamrockn’s 5K/10K and half marathon in Sacramento. The Tower Bridge and various on- and off-ramps are scheduled to be closed during the event. The events will take place Saturday, March 14 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. or until the last participant crosses the finish line, and Sunday, March 15 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until the last participant crosses the finish line.
Tower Bridge, the Q Street off-ramp from eastbound U.S. Highway 50 and northbound and southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) and Broadway off-ramp from northbound I-5 will be closed to traffic for the duration of the event.Caltrans reminds motorists to excess caution and avoid distractions when near the event.
