Annual FACE FamFest Returns May 7

SACRAMENTO REGION, CA (MPG) – San Juan Unified School District invites students, families and staff to attend its annual FamFest celebration on Thursday, May 7, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Dyer-Kelly Elementary School, located at 3101 Bell St. in Sacramento.
This free, family-friendly event brings the community together for an evening focused on connection, wellness and support for student success. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with local organizations in the event’s Partner Village, offering resources and services to support families throughout the summer and beyond.
FamFest will feature a wide variety of interactive activities for all ages, including team sports, an outdoor obstacle course, dance, robotics, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities, including science make-and-take kits. The first 100 families to arrive will receive a free swag bag, and all attendees can enjoy healthy snacks, as well as access to a community food and diaper distribution.
Participants will also have the chance to enter raffles for prizes throughout the event.
Pre-registration is not required, though early arrival is encouraged. Interpretation services will be available in Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, Persian, Pashto and Spanish to ensure the event is accessible to all families.
