ORANGEVALE, CA (MPG) - The Orangevale Chamber of Commerce, along with an enthusiastic crowd of family, friends, clients and community leaders, celebrated the grand opening of Fidelis K9 Dog Training with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 21.

Owners Patrick and Shannon Smith were showered with recognition from the offices of County Supervisor Sue Frost, Assemblyman Josh Hoover and Congressman Kevin Kiley, highlighting their exceptional dog training services and their official welcome into the Orangevale business community.

Patrick kicked things off by sharing the story of how their business was started during the pandemic and has grown into a successful venture. Both Patrick and Shannon were genuinely touched by the outpouring of support from the Orangevale community.

Adding some patriotic flair to the event, Darren Lang of Easystumps—both a Fidelis K9 client and a fellow Chamber member—drove in with his boom truck, proudly displaying a giant American flag. It was a special nod to Patrick’s service as a Marine and his ongoing commitment to helping veterans train their dogs.

La Placita’s Eileen Hernandez, a neighboring business owner, catered the event with a delicious spread of appetizers, making sure no one left hungry. Patrick also took the opportunity to showcase the variety of training classes Fidelis K9 offers, stressing the importance of having a well-behaved family dog.

It was a fantastic afternoon, and we wish Fidelis K9 nothing but continued success!
